DISCUSSION
of PSYCHOTHERAPY
TREATMENT
Goals for
Psychotherapy Treatment can be
set - long-term, intermediate, or short - and can be revised and
developed as insight grows, abilities manifest, and situations
externally change.
The way that I work is as a "PSYCHOTHERAPY TREATMENT PARTNER",
who, unlike a mentor,
doesn't try to set an agenda. The patient-client in psychotherapy treatment is on a journey, a
search, and an exploration. The work is accomplished when a person can
trust them self well enough to discover their real, ultimate, and
timely current of ambitions, and see promising next steps happening.
Like in the
open the countryside, where one can look in all directions, and see
the possibilities, the 360 degrees of directions, higher and lower
levels to examine, test, explore, feel through; there is usually no
hurry to decide - taking the time to think, feel, and learn, about all
the choices, and how to create this "best of circumstance"
for making choices.
The search
for happiness may just be the undercurrent of a life change, or it may
be the search for new livelihood, philosophy or developing
relationships.
This often includes some form of spiritual direction, or a value
system, which is being addressed or developed, and how it connects
with what is known, and what can be learned.
Not surprisingly, seeking satisfaction for "Spiritual
Hunger", or seeking "Guidance From One's Inner
Self" are common, and are often just waiting for a person to
learn about how to open inward for relationship with their resources,
dimensions, attributes, inevitably helpful parts of themselves that
earlier seemed out of reach, or even unknown!
Often next steps are outward steps, small, or what can feel like
gigantic courageous leaps, in a new direction that has opened,
excitingly, realms of new possibilities.
Sometime a short-term goal can be quickly reached, and it may be
enough for now!
Sometimes the work takes longer. Whatever your pace, depth or need, I
have a broad range of experience, and I can probably help you.
I am ready for your call, and excited to hear from you - to hear, to
see, and to understand - about what you want me to know, and for us to
discover together how you can accomplish the goals for which you have
come to work with me.
Resourcefully yours,
